Distributed compute: from request to acceptance
Connect authorized capacity from Mirror boxes, workstations and compute centers. Match tasks to hardware, availability and data boundaries, then reconcile against verifiable delivery records.
A customizable system design, not an existing public exchange. Compute service orders and power trading are separate processes; power participation requires local eligibility checks. No fixed returns or guaranteed orders.
How a task moves through the system
- Scope and classify data
- Validate nodes and quote
- Authorize and isolate
- Execute, meter and retry
- Accept and reconcile
Proposed workflow, not live data. Validate permissions, logs and failure handling at every stage.
Applications by task

Studio batch generation and rendering
- Customer value
- Add capacity for queueable jobs without sizing all owned hardware for short peaks.
- Technology and boundaries
- Validate model licenses, VRAM and runtime. Dispatch independent jobs; heterogeneous VRAM is not automatically pooled.
- How to validate
- Record queue time, successful jobs, retries and accepted outputs. Agree billing units and failed-job rules first.

Enterprise multi-site workloads
- Customer value
- Use approved sites first and reduce the impact of a single-site outage on portable jobs.
- Technology and boundaries
- Keep sensitive data in approved regions. Configure identity, tenant isolation, transport encryption and audit separately. Checkpoint migration needs application support.
- How to validate
- Test node loss, recovery and access revocation; verify data locations and recovery time.

Owner-controlled capacity sharing
- Customer value
- Keep personal tasks first and offer spare capacity within agreed time, energy and thermal limits.
- Technology and boundaries
- Do not share private files by default. Apply job allowlists and quotas; pause new jobs and drain accepted work safely.
- How to validate
- Test pause, quotas and private-task priority. Separate energy, network and service costs; gross receipts are not net returns.
